Summary of Role

The Finance Leader will serve as a trusted financial partner to GlobalFoundries' Product Line leadership teams. This highly visible role is responsible for driving business performance through strategic financial planning, investment analysis, commercial decision support, and P&L management, helping accelerate growth in some of the company's most innovative and high-impact technology businesses.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Product Line leadership, influencing decisions that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business value.
  • Lead financial management of the Product Line P&Ls, including revenue, gross margin, operating profit, and key performance metrics.
  • Drive quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with technology, product, and business objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership and support for customer contracts, pricing decisions, long-term supply agreements, strategic partnerships, and commercial negotiations to ensure appropriate risk-adjusted returns.
  • Lead financial evaluation of R&D investments, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives across business unit technologies to maximize return on investment and resource efficiency.
  • Develop and present actionable insights, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling informed and timely business decisions.
  • Support CapEx planning, capital allocation, investment governance, and business case development for manufacturing capacity, technology development, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Lead financial analysis and support for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, and ecosystem collaborations impacting the technology portfolios.
  • Foster a culture of financial rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement while building strong cross-functional partnerships across Finance, Product, Technology, Sales, and Operations.

Other Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Product Management to improve profitability through cost, yield, utilization, capacity, and portfolio optimization.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, management reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to improve visibility into business performance and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial governance processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Evaluate business risks and opportunities related to market trends, customer demand, technology investments, and competitive positioning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 13+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles supporting product-driven, manufacturing, or technology-intensive businesses.
  • Proven experience in business finance, FP&A, or P&L support within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or B2B technology environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial workstreams related to forecasting, contracts, capital investment, and business integration.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders across multiple functions and regions.
  • Deep analytical skills coupled with the ability to simplify complexity and drive clear decisions.
  • Comfortable operating with minimal direction in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders across multiple functions and regions.
  • Semiconductor industry direct working experience

Expected Salary Range

$152,000.00 - $292,000.00
