Litigation Practice Areas Include:

Defense of medical professionals and providers in all areas of health care liability. This includes physicians, hospitals, nurses, allied health professionals, dentists, nursing homes and physician practices.

Job Duties May Include:

  • Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing documents, including medical, financial, tax, and employment records
  • Creating detailed medical and factual chronologies
  • Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
  • Compiling evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases
  • Managing and organizing electronic and physical case files
  • Coordinating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services
  • Generating status reports, logs, and case indexes
  • Corresponding with clients and opposing law firms
  • Conducting legal and medical research, including review of expert materials
  • Communicating with experts and analyzing their qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications
  • Performing additional duties as needed

Job Requirements:

  • 35 years of litigation/casualty paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABAapproved program preferred

Compensation range: $45,000 - $80,000
