Student Associate Program Overview
We believe in developing talent and helping to create the leaders of tomorrow. One way we do this is through our Student Associate Program. This program is designed to create real, valuable opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to learn, grow, and explore MSG Entertainment, MSG Sports, and Sphere. As a Student Associate, you will gain valuable experience that will be applicable throughout your career. While participating in the Student Associate Program, students will have the opportunity to work with our employees to get a full understanding of the business. We also provide additional learning and development opportunities through an executive speaker series, mentorship program, career development workshops, and other social events.
This is the entry level of professional work for an individual working towards a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or computer science, with 1 to 2 years of major coursework completed. Assignments are designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities. Works under close supervision of an engineer on required tasks. Work is checked during progress. AED personnel are expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism in dealing with their co-workers as well as with AED customers and vendors.

  • Circuit Design: Basic circuit design skills as taught in relevant engineering undergraduate classes.
  • Schematic: Basic familiarity with circuit schematics.
  • Library: Basic understanding of CAD library components.
  • Documentation: Basic documentation skills are required under direct review.
  • BOM Management: Able to identify components from a Bill of Materials.
  • Coordination: All work is done under supervision and direction of a project Lead.
  • Mechanical Design: Working with Solidworks or other mechanical programs is a plus.
  • Specifications: Understands basic project specifications and requirements.
  • Validation: Able to perform basic test procedures as instructed.
  • Current GPA: 3.7 or above

Requirements:
  • Must be available to work 21-35 hours/week (3 - 5 business days) in-person.
  • Must be available to work part-time or full-time from October 2026 - April 2027.
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student for Fall 2026.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
