Job description

Blumenthal Family Library - Archives Student Assistant

Job Summary:
Assists Archivist with scanning archival materials, answering reference questions, moving boxes, shelving, inventorying collections, and photocopying newspaper clippings.
The position will begin 9/9/2026 and is compensated at $15.00 per hour.
Qualifications:
  • Careful attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks required.
  • Previous library experience highly desired.
  • Experience using scanners and strong research skills preferred.
  • Must have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work well independently.
  • Must be able to lift 35-pound boxes and use a computer for extended periods of time.
