Job Qualifications
- Meet/ exceed annual sales growth goals for pharmacy division
- Serve PBM Program expert to external constituents in the corporate segment (consultants, HR and other corporate contacts)
- Assist in the development of annual sales strategy/tactics
- Create and manage target lists for pursuit - including both third party advisors (as potential channel partners) as well as prospective organizations
- Meet/exceed required daily outreach/communication/interaction to applicable external stakeholders for new business growth
- Actively contribute to growth of PBM and/or other category participation agreement volume
- Active engagement with PBM vendor sales team, sales and marketing teams and pharmacy division to meet organizational financial metrics
- Build and manage pipeline of corporate prospects across the sales cycle (including introduction, deeper review, final engagement support, crossline integration)
- Travel as needed, including attending meetings and conferences, in support of sales growth
- Be consistently visible in the marketplace to create new opportunities
- Engage with third party advisors (channel partners or otherwise) to provide enhanced client service and support; helping manage strategically the RFP response process for
- Lead outreach to targeted new business opportunities
- Collaborate and/or support Sales team members by coaching, encouraging, and providing SME knowledge in effective Sales
- Collaborate on development of materials to support business development activities including educational material, promotional material, webinars, etc.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in either math, science, business, marketing, health administration or related field required
- 10 years minimum of previous experience in pharmacy benefits, PBM service HR consulting, business development, sales operations and 5 years in management roles.
- Track record of meeting sales goals
- Experience leading sales team
- Experience building relationships with HR buyers (benefits manager, VPHR, etc.) and third-party consultants/brokers is key.
- Strong working knowledge of PBM contracting, operations, and programmatic design elements
- Professional designation (Such as ASA/FSA, MBA, PharmD, RPh) preferred.
