Position: SharePoint Administrator

Project Overview

This role will support the Utility Operations SharePoint end user needs. Provide day-to-day support on the SharePoint Out-of-the-Box functionalities, Nintex workflows, content management, user training and documentation.

Looking for a SharePoint Site Collections Administrator whose role will work closely with business users and the hiring manager to deliver SharePoint Out-of-the-box solutions to meet the business needs.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Expertise in implementing solutions using SharePoint 2013 out-of-the-box.
  • Analyze, design and implement SharePoint 2013 lists, libraries, views.
  • Expertise in handling SharePoint Permissions at Site, List and Item levels.
  • Experience configuring out of the box web-parts.
  • Working knowledge with Nintex workflows and forms.
  • Act as front line of technical support to the business users.
  • Meet with users and create business/functional requirements documents.
  • Create support documentation for all trainings and solutions.

Skills Requirements:

  • Proficient in SharePoint 2013 Out of the Box functionalities.
  • Working Experience handling Nintex Forms and Workflows.
  • Experience in HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSOM, JSOM and XML.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products like Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with business users.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with OpenText Content Server, IBM Maximo is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and self- sufficient. Able to work independently within a small team and follow through on tasks.
  • Must have the ability to independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems.

Education and Certifications:

  • 6 + years Information Technology experience.
  • 3 + years SharePoint 2013 Out-of-the-Box experience.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday

7.5 hour work day with required .5 hour unpaid lunch

Paid for time worked only; there are no paid holidays, vacation or sick days

Overtime is not permitted unless authorized in advanced.
