Familiarity with library management systems, digital cataloging tools, and database searching is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, and attention to detail help librarians assist diverse patrons and manage resources effectively. These competencies ensure efficient information access, community engagement, and the smooth operation of library services.
