Job Description
Position Summary:
The Department of Liberal Arts at Long Island University (LIU) Post is inviting applications for part-time faculty in English, History, Sociology, and Philosophy. The candidates need to have expertise teaching introductory writing in English or survey-level courses in one or more of the disciplines listed above.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • M.S. degree or Ph.D. in the areas of teaching interest
  • Ability to teach undergraduate courses in general education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to excellence and effectiveness in teaching
