This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in how you deliver care to your clients. Standard work hours range from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some scheduling flexibility required to meet patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gain a thorough understanding of each patient's unique life experiences, mental health challenges, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and take into account each individual's cultural and personal context.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on mental health issues while promoting resilience and well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure holistic care and continuous support for patients.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services to assist patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and access to resources.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community support systems, empowering them to participate in their healing journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for accuracy.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss treatment approaches and challenges, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
• Stay current with ongoing research and cultivate knowledge about the latest best practices in mental health therapy, particularly in culturally responsive methodologies.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Sterling Counseling Services, you will work with a wide range of patients from various backgrounds. Your expertise will be invaluable in addressing the needs of ethnic and cultural minorities, providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, and supporting immigrant populations who may face unique challenges in their paths to mental wellness. • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid and current license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly with an emphasis on cultural competence.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive techniques.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Experience working within a multicultural therapy setting and a strong understanding of the specific needs of various population groups.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to mental health.
• Interest in innovative therapy practices and a desire to engage in leadership and mentorship opportunities within the organization.

Sterling Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
