We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Counter Representative to join our team.

    Position Summary

    The Automotive Parts Counter Representative assists customers—both retail and wholesale—in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities
    • Assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email

    • Identify automotive parts using catalogs and computer systems

    • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

    • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock orders

    • Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely parts delivery

    • Handle returns, warranties, and core processing

    • Keep the parts department clean and organized

    Qualifications
    • Previous automotive parts experience preferred

    • Knowledge of vehicle systems and aftermarket parts

    • Strong customer service and communication skills

    • Proficiency with parts lookup systems and POS software

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    • Valid driver’s license

    Preferred Experience With
    • Electronic parts catalogs (e.g., systems similar to CDK Global)

    • Aftermarket suppliers such as NAPA Auto Parts, O'Reilly Auto Parts, or AutoZone
