About the Role:

As a Computer Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the technological infrastructure of our organization. Your primary objective will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain computer systems and related hardware to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You will work closely with end-users to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential system vulnerabilities and recommending upgrades or improvements. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to a seamless and efficient computing environment that supports the organization's operational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in Computer Technology or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and peripheral device configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Assists in maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, including networks, applications, and communication systems.
  • Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Documents technical procedures, updates, and support activities; communicates system changes to users.
  • Collaborates with IT staff and departments to support organizational technology needs and improve services.
