Clinical Role

Join a Level 1 Trauma Center in Lexington, Kentucky for a full-time locums CRNA opportunity providing anesthesia services across a variety of high-acuity surgical specialties. This position offers a collaborative anesthesia team model with medically directed CRNA practice alongside anesthesiologists and residents.

Critical Requirements

NBCRNA Certification Required
Active Kentucky State License Required (Open to Licensing)
Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
No new graduates accepted
Recent experience in a large medical center setting required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Advanced anesthesia skills including intubation, central lines, arterial lines, and line placement required
NORA experience required

Coverage Need

Full-time CRNA coverage needed
4 shifts per week
Long-term coverage preference: approximately 6 months

Assignment Length:
13 weeks with options to extend

Department Details

CRNAs work under the direction of anesthesiologists
Typical medical direction model is 2:1 or 3:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist coverage
May support up to 4:1 ratios for lower acuity cases
Anesthesiologists may also supervise residents in additional rooms with primary teaching responsibilities
