Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room assignment in Columbus, Ohio.
This role supports a high-volume Level I Trauma OR within a large academic medical center, providing exposure to complex and diverse surgical cases.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for experienced surgical technologists who are confident in high-acuity environments and have strong experience across trauma, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgery cases.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
โ€ข Contract Length: 13 weeks
โ€ข Shift: Variable (day and evening coverage)
โ€ข Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
โ€ข Shift range: 0630-2330
โ€ข Call required
โ€ข Weekend coverage as needed
โ€ข Teaching hospital environment
COMPENSATION
โ€ข Weekly Gross: $2,457
โ€ข Pay package includes taxable hourly wages and tax-free stipends when applicable
โ€ข Locals accepted at same rate
SURGICAL CASE EXPOSURE

Requirements
โ€ข Minimum 3 years Surgical Technologist experience REQUIRED
โ€ข Minimum 2 years Level I or II Trauma OR experience REQUIRED
โ€ข Neurosurgery and spine experience REQUIRED
โ€ข Complex orthopedic and general surgery experience REQUIRED (including bariatric)
โ€ข Teaching hospital experience REQUIRED
โ€ข BLS REQUIRED
โ€ข Ability to work variable shifts and take call REQUIRED
โ€ข Epic experience preferred
โ€ข Travel experience preferred
