Location:ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Regional School District No. 7, Northwestern Regional Middle Schoolย 
Start Date: ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  2026 Fall Season

Position Summary

Regional School District No. 7 is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeableย Middle School Boys Soccer Coach to lead our student-athletes in a competitive and supportive environment. The successful candidate will promote teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and a positive athletic experience for all players.

ย Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise all practices, games, and team activities for the Middle School Boys Soccer program. Focus on skill development and team strategy.
  • Supervise student-athletes before, during, and after practices, games, and team events.
  • Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, school administration, and athletic department staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all school, district, and CIAC rules and expectations.
  • Coordinate equipment needs, uniform distribution, and facility use.
  • Maintain safe play at all times.
  • Model and reinforce positive sportsmanship and respectful conduct at all times.
  • Attend required coaches' meetings, trainings, and professional development as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Prior coaching experience or significant soccer knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively with middle school students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Successful completion of required background checks

Preferred:

  • Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • CIAC coaching certification (or willingness to complete)
