Holland & Hart's Private Client Group is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (2-6 years) to join their growing Denver-based team. This position will involve (i) creating, drafting, and implementing sophisticated wealth transfer plans for high-net-worth individuals and (ii) collaborating and assisting with all aspects of complex estate and trust administration matters.

Position Requirements

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in trust & estate planning, a strong academic background, stellar interpersonal skills, the ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner, and the aptitude to work in a team environment. Excellent legal research, verbal communication, and writing skills are required. A strong candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, solid organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a professional work environment. Prior professional experience in estate planning (or a related transactional field such as corporate or real estate) and/or an LLM is a plus.

Compensation and Expectations

Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based—you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team’s efforts. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $207,500 - $242,800.

Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.

Holland & Hart expects associate attorneys to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours. Contributions to the life of the firm are vital to the collective success of the firm, and we encourage our lawyers to engage in ways each person finds meaningful through various committees and firm activities.
