Job Description:

Position Overview: As a National Account Manager Remote anywhere in the United States at Pitney Bowes Presort Services, you will play a critical role in driving growth and ensure the continued success of our National Account program. This is a strategic sales position focused on managing high-value relationships (Fortune 500) and expanding our market presence. The position reports to the Director of National Accounts and provides for direct collaboration with members of PBPS Executive leadership team.


Compensation:

Base salary range of $105K - $125K plus uncapped bonus, with actual pay determined by relevant skills and experience.

About You:

You are an accomplished Account Manager with a proven track record of success in established, competitive markets. You excel at building strategic relationships, understanding complex customer needs, and positioning solutions for long-term success. Your business acumen, creative thinking, and positive attitude set you apart. You thrive on the challenge of expanding existing accounts while prospecting for new business opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and expand five to six strategically important national accounts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive retention and growth strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships, focusing on strategic partnership rather than transactional interactions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Pitney Bowes, advocating for both parties.

Business Development

  • Generate new business revenue through proactive identification, prospecting, and opportunity management.
  • Delivering compelling, value-based presentations that demonstrate fiscal impact and ROI.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts that benefit both the customer and organization.
  • Consistently meet and exceed quota standards.

Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner with PBPS Leadership, General Managers, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery across multiple sites.
  • Coordinate account activities to maintain high-level customer satisfaction.
  • Travel periodically (15-20%) for in-person meetings, site tours, and customer visits.

Product Expertise

Sell across the full suite of Presort commingle services, including:

  • First Class Letters and Postcards
  • Marketing Mail Letters and Flats
  • Flats and Bound Printed Matter Parcels

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience managing large, multi-region client relationships.
  • Proven consultative and value-based selling capabilities with successful C-Suite engagement.
  • Strong track record of quota attainment and revenue growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High initiative, competitive drive, and strong work ethic
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
