Job description

Baesman Group is looking for an experienced Lettershop Operator to aid in the production process. Working under the supervision of the Lettershop manager, the Inkjet Operator is responsible for setting up and operating inkjet and inserting devices according to specifications on the job ticket.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and running the inserting and inkjet mail equipment
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to maintain and identify repairs of equipment
  • Ability to tray mail, band mail trays and sort (keep in zip code order)
  • Ability to read postal statements and sort mail accordingly
  • Perform quality control during runs to ensure product meets USPS requirements
  • Ability to stage work product and keep area organized

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to maintain and identify repairs of equipment
  • Detail-oriented, ability to read English and basic math skills
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, twist, push & pull pallets and post con carts, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours per shift without issue
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent attendance and the ability to work on a team
