Looking for a hands-on job where you can stay active, learn new skills, and build a long-term career in construction?

Lester Brothers Excavation is hiring a motivated Construction Laborer to support our excavation, trucking, and sitework crews. We’re looking for dependable people who show up ready to work and are interested in building a career with a reputable and established, growing Jackson employer.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist operators and skilled tradespeople on active construction sites
  • Dig trenches, clean job sites, and help with demolition/excavation work
  • Load, unload, and move materials and tools
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Help maintain safe and organized work areas
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Support crews wherever needed to keep projects moving

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Willingness to work hard and take direction
  • Comfortable working outdoors and getting dirty
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate and Chauffeur’s license
  • Some exposure to working in a construction environment
