Job description

As a Mechanical Installer, you will join our Installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the continental United States. This role is responsible for the layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural and header steel, platforms, guardrail, rack systems, and air piping.
Successful candidates will bring 1-5 years of hands-on installation experience, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34,000 to $64,000 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this Role:
  • Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
  • Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
  • Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
  • Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
  • Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel, with extensive trips across the U.S.
  • Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions

What we are looking for:
  • Preferred ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Are good communicators and are willing to take direction to ensure projects meet stringent standards.
  • Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
  • Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred.
  • Some computer experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and hand tools are required.
