Job description

The Colburn Farmers Agency has an urgent need for two producers and will offer a competitive base salary plus commissions and bonus as well as some of the best training in the industry.
The Colburn Agency is a member of Farmers Insurance District 04, a Presidents Council district, (Top 1% Nationwide) and this means they are supported by a dynamic team of professionals.
After training and onboarding you will:
  • Sell Property & Casualty insurance policies to individuals and small businesses
  • Follow-up on agency provided leads developing relationships and referrals
  • Assess client needs and provide tailored coverage recommendations
  • Quote and bind policies from multiple carriers owned by or in relationship with Farmers Insurance, such as Foremost, Kraft Lake, Bristol West, Progressive, Travelers, Safeco and others to include Lemonade. More options translates to higher closing ratios for you.
  • Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and company procedures
  • Foster long-term client relationships through proactive communication
  • Document all client interactions in CRM

Requirements
What we require of you is:
  • Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of insurance sales experience with success (know your numbers)
  • Strong communication, keyboard and consultative sales skills
  • Verifiable track record of success. Be prepared to discuss your numbers in the interview. (Average calls per day, average policies a month, closing ratio and sales ranking within your organization.)
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use virtual tools (Zoom, CRMs, Email)
  • Self-starter with the discipline to work remotely and meet sales goals
  • Life and Health Licenses with experience in Life Insurance sales a PLUS
