Parts Counterperson – Peoria, IL

Leman Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Counterperson to join our Peoria team!

We are a family-owned automotive group that has been serving Central Illinois since 1963. With 13 dealerships and nearly 700 employees, we offer the stability of an established company with plenty of opportunities to grow your career.

What You'll Do
  • Assist customers and technicians with locating and ordering the correct parts
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Work with the Parts Manager to source parts that are not currently in stock
  • Complete special-order requests for customers
  • Communicate with customers regarding parts availability and order status
  • Maintain accurate inventory and organized parts areas
  • Provide friendly and professional service to customers and dealership staff
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Professional and dependable
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
