Leixir Dental Lab Group Jobs in Timonium, MD (NOW HIRING)

This is a part-time position with an anticipated schedule of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to route completion. This position typically requires 3 to 4 weekdays per week, working for an estimated 18 to 25 hours per week. The schedule may vary based on business needs. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.

• Operate company vehicles to make pickups and deliveries to designated locations in a timely fashion while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and operational vehicle by conducting regular inspections and ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
• Utilize the company credit card to purchase fuel and other necessary items and maintain accurate and current receipt records.
• Represent the company well in all interactions with customers and the public.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes to deliver goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles while ensuring that all goods are secured safely.
• Prepare orders for next day's shipping and/or delivery.
• Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation.
• Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes to deliver goods.
• Assist with regular vehicle inspections and arrange for maintenance as needed.
• Refuel vehicles and ensure that they are always ready for use.
• Assist shipping department with case opening and packing.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated clean driving record.
• Ability to drive for extended periods while prioritizing safety and adhering to traffic laws.
• Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with the use of maps and GPS technology
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Prior experience driving in a professional capacity, such as a delivery driver, truck driver, or courier.

This position is located in Timonium, Maryland. Our network of dental laboratories spans six states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Texas and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida.

1. Information Screening: The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.
2. Panel Interview: 45-minute interview with two key members of the team. This will take place at the lab and will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet the team, tour the workplace, and gain a better understanding of the job's functions.
3. Offer: The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent. At this time, we will complete a background check.
