Entry-Level Dental Laboratory Technician - Plaster Bench & Denture Processor

We're looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Dental Laboratory Technician to join our growing dental laboratory team. Whether you're beginning your dental laboratory career or have experience working at a plaster bench, we provide opportunities to develop your technical skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Dental Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting the fabrication of full and partial dentures by preparing dental models, pouring impressions, articulating cases, polishing dentures, and assisting with various laboratory production processes. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality dental prosthetics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pour dental impressions into plaster to create accurate working models.
  • Trim and prepare plaster models for denture fabrication.
  • Articulate cases according to laboratory specifications.
  • Polish full and partial dentures to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Assist technicians with removable prosthetic production.
  • Maintain organized workstations and laboratory equipment.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and infection control protocols.
  • Cross-train in multiple laboratory departments to expand technical skills.
  • Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Mechanical aptitude and/or artistic ability.
  • Ability to work efficiently with small, detailed components.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Willingness to learn multiple laboratory procedures through cross-training.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety protocols.

Preferred
  • 0-6 months of dental laboratory experience.
  • Experience trimming and pouring denture models.
  • Plaster bench experience.
  • Experience working with removable prosthetics or dentures.

Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shift during regular laboratory business hours
