Branch Manager - Leisure World, MD

Position Description
The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of financial services professionals to deliver the distinctive Signal member experience, as well as business development in a medium-sized credit union facility with tremendous growth opportunity. In addition, this position provides oversight of the branch operational, service, employee development, member relationship management, and financial growth expectations.
Position Responsibilities
  • Leads, develops, motivates, hires and manages performance of branch personnel; ensures internal safeguarding control procedures for all branch personnel and positions; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions.
  • Leads branch routines necessary to acquire, retain, and deepen member relationships. Routines to include: daily huddles, monthly employee 1 on 1's, outbound calling campaigns, new member onboarding, relationship product bundling, and cross-selling Signal's products and services to existing members.
  • Manages a portfolio of Select Employer Groups (SEG's), with an emphasis of enrolling all existing and new employees as members of the credit union.
  • Participates in local organizations, marketing Signal's brand, value proposition, and commitment to the local community.
  • Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings.
  • Monitors all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.

Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience, with proven leadership, business development, client relationship management, and organizational skills are required
  • Prior experience in a banking or financial services company required. Credit union experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal engagement, leadership, and presentation skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both members and employees required.
  • Work involves motivating or influencing others.
  • Fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals).
  • Strong accuracy and detail orientation skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Prior experience with Fiserv and/or Symitar preferred
