Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and documentation (e.g., schematics, manuals).

  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts by participating in continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Follow all safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE use, and participation in safety audits and meetings (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Proactive Safety).

  • Document maintenance work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and report equipment trends or recurring issues.

  • Identify missing spare parts or required tools and report them promptly to maintain maintenance readiness.

  • Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as assigned.

  • Comply with internal and external QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) standards and regulations.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training as needed.

  • Starting hourly rate: $36.85.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of injection molding machines or similar automated manufacturing systems.

  • Proven troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis tools.

  • Experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, or equivalent.

Education / Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED (required).

  • Completion of a technical certification or associate degree in one of the following areas (preferred):

    • Industrial Maintenance

    • Mechatronics

    • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology

    • Electro-Mechanical Technology

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of:

    • Injection molding equipment (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky)

    • Electrical circuits, PLCs, sensors, relays

    • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

  • Proficient computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with digital maintenance tools.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $36.85 - $36.85 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
