Looking to get your start in the bar and live music industry? This is a great entry-level position with excellent pay potential—no prior experience required.

As a bar back, your primary role is to support the bartenders and ensure the bar runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll help provide guests with the best possible experience by keeping supplies stocked, the bar clean, and the grounds looking sharp.

What you will do

  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked
  • Take out trash regularly
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar grounds, including sweeping and tidying outdoor areas
  • Assist bartenders with prep tasks
  • Provide general support during busy shifts to keep service flowing smoothly

What you bring - minimum qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current TABC and Food Handlers certification
  • Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including weekends and holidays

Physical requirements and working conditions

  • Must be able to stand and walk for 6 or more hours in a day
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and over 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking
  • Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures
