Part-Time Legal Assistant

Location: Janesville, WI
Schedule: Part-Time, 20 Hours per Week (Tuesday-Thursday)
Pay: $22.00-$28.00/hour DOE

Position Type: In-Person Only

A professional legal office in Janesville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience working in a legal office environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize client files and records
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and deadlines
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, email, and document filing
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and case information
