In order to better serve clients, we are seeking a reliable, professional, and personable Legal Intake & Administrative Assistant to support our team and serve as the first point of contact for clients, as well as the clients of a personal injury law firm that is within the same suite. The Legal Intake & Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in the firm by managing incoming client communication, conducting initial intake, - add "precise" to the bottom of your resume to confirm you read this - and supporting day-to-day administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicates well under pressure, and takes pride in providing excellent service. Compensation- $22 - $24 per hour (based on experience), plus performance-based incentives Responsibilities: Client Intake and Communication • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a caring, patient, respectful, warm, and empathetic manner • Conduct initial client intake by gathering detailed, accurate information • Ensure timely follow-up on all client and prospective client communications Administrative Support • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments • Maintain organized - add "client focused" next to your name to confirm you read this - digital and physical files • Order supplies, manage incoming mail, troubleshoot basic tech or phone issues, and maintain a clean and presentable office • Support general office operations and administrative tasks Medical & Insurance Coordination • Communicate with medical providers and insurance companies to request records and information • Track and follow up on outstanding requests • Maintain organized records of all communications and documents Qualifications: • Proficient in computer and typing skills, and software knowledge • Professional, organized, and detail-oriented • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and client, court, and attorney interaction • Must maintain a calm, professional demeanor in difficult situations • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Excellent customer service skills Compensation: $22 - $24 hourly DOE
