Role: SD-WAN Project Manager
location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 24 Months
Top Three Skills:
1. 5+ years of Project Management experience within an enterprise environment.
2. Experience and understanding of wide-area network technologies, local access and routing/switching.
3. Primavera and MS Project experience creating and analyzing schedules on project plans
4. PMP and CCNA highly desired
Job Description:
  • The SD-WAN Project Manager (PM) is responsible for oversight of migration from MPLS to SD-WAN at Caterpillar.
  • The PM takes infrastructure project from initial concept through final implementation utilizing project management disciplines and methodologies.
  • They estimate project scope & staffing while integrating resources to deliver defined project milestones, on time and within budget.
  • In addition to managing individual projects, the Infrastructure Project Manager may lead multiple, related projects under a coordinated program structure.
  • Such programs will have greater complexity & enterprise visibility.
  • Specific cloud project experience is certainly preferred, but not required.

***Must have hands on experience creating and analyzing schedules within Primavera based on project plans. Capable of laying out the whole program and track against it next year.***
