Their duties often include managing timelines, budgets, resources, and communication, as well as implementing processes to improve legal operations. Legal Program Managers play a crucial role in bridging the gap between legal and business functions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

What are some common challenges faced by legal program managers in cross-functional projects?

  • Ability to turn data into insights; strong reporting and visualization skills
  • Must be highly proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • You're proactive, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in large cross-functional teams
