Interns are vital our success!

We are seeking Interns to join our team at the Sexual Assault Center. This unpaid internship is based out of our Green Bay location for students enrolled in human services programs. As an intern, you will provide assistance to callers by answering the 24-hour crisis line; provide information and referrals to clients and callers; provide legal and medical advocacy.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services program
  • Preferred: N/A

Experience:

  • Required: N/A
  • Preferred: Previous experience with sexual assault survivors.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational skills; communication, interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Ability to perform and coordinate multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Typing and data entry skills. Experience in Word, Excel programs.
  • Proper English usage, spelling and English composition are required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Sexual Assault Center interns are required to maintain 30-minute response time to downtown Green Bay for on-call shifts.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable personal vehicle. Maintain required auto insurance and acceptable driving record requirements.
