They are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy team of two attorneys and paralegals across multiple litigation-focused practice areas, including insurance coverage, auto accidents, product and premises liability, employment, and admiralty law. Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegal in a fast-paced litigation practice
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
  • Organize, file, and maintain legal documents (both paper and electronic files)
  • Manage attorney calendars, including court deadlines, depositions, and client meetings
  • Assist with document preparation and filings, including pleadings, discovery, and motions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and internal team members
  • Perform general office tasks, including billing assistance, document scanning, and data entry
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the attorneys and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in litigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and ProLaw is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
