Assistant Professor of Law (Tenure-Track)
Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law
Knoxville, Tennessee (Hybrid/Online Teaching Opportunities)

Lincoln Memorial University's Duncan School of Law invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Law beginning July 2027 .

We welcome applications from both entry-level and lateral candidates across all areas of legal scholarship, with particular interest in candidates with expertise in Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, and Family Law . As our innovative part-time hybrid J.D. program continues to expand, we also seek faculty members who are enthusiastic about excellence in online and hybrid legal education.

LMU Law faculty are committed to providing an exceptional legal education through innovative teaching, experiential learning, and meaningful student mentorship. We seek colleagues who value collaboration, academic excellence, and supporting students in their academic, professional, and personal development.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment

Evidence of student mentorship, educational presentations, legal publications, and leadership in professional or community organizations is highly desirable.
