LHH is actively recruiting talented legal professionals for ongoing temporary and contract Litigation Legal Assistant opportunities with respected law firms and corporate legal departments. What You'll Do
Responsibilities and Duties
Document Preparation and Management
  • Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and related correspondence.
  • File documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
Case Management
  • Assist in managing case calendars and attorney schedules.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of legal documents.
  • Coordinate exhibits, evidence, and materials for trials, hearings, and depositions.
Client and Witness Coordination
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates, meetings, and document requests.
  • Schedule witness interviews, depositions, and related proceedings.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, preferably supporting litigation practices.
