Overview
The Atlanta office of Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly motivated recent college graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in the legal profession prior to attending law school or pursuing other advanced education. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside attorneys and legal professionals in a fast-paced corporate practice, with an initial focus on Real Estate Capital Markets and opportunities for broader exposure to Emerging Companies and Venture Capital matters.
A Day in the Life
In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and legal professionals to support corporate and real estate capital markets matters through transaction coordination, legal and business research, document preparation, client communications, and workflow management. As a Practice Assistant, you will help facilitate complex commercial transactions, maintain data and document management systems, support corporate compliance efforts, and provide administrative and operational support to ensure matters progress efficiently from inception through closing.

The successful candidate will be a recent graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with a strong interest in the legal profession. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
