The Opportunity

A premier North Carolina law firm is seeking a high-caliber Litigation Paralegal to support a sophisticated civil litigation and government relations practice. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing complex files involving public officials and high-stakes state and federal matters.


Core Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Oversee the full litigation lifecycle for civil and criminal matters in state and federal jurisdictions.
  • Document Drafting: Prepare discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, and routine legal correspondence.
  • Electronic Filing: Manage document preparation and execution for E-Courts and CM/ECF filing systems.
  • Docketing: Maintain strict calendar control for court hearings, deadlines, and statutes of limitations.
  • Trial Prep: Organize exhibits, prepare hearing binders, and manage document productions.
  • Client Relations: Serve as a professional liaison between the firm, public officials, and court personnel.
  • Record Review: Perform detailed proofreading, redacting, and analysis of legal records and evidence.


Required Qualifications
