Work Location: This position may be performed on a hybrid basis for candidates located near one of our office locations or fully remote for candidates residing in approved states outside of commuting distance. We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Supervisory Legal Analyst with high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills to manage client engagements and lead a team of legal analysts responsible for handling third-party requests for user data. The ideal candidate must possess demonstrated leadership capabilities and deep knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and compliance standards. This individual is adept at reviewing and resolving complex team escalations, conducting performance and productivity monitoring, and is committed to the growth and development of team members.
What You Will Do:
  • Oversee client engagements by tracking goal progress, assigning priorities, delegating tasks, meeting deadlines, reporting compliance risks, and communicating engagement status to leadership.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws, including laws relevant to client guidance.
  • Analyze and respond to all types of legal requests in accordance with client policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and resolve team escalations, seek guidance when needed, and document for alignment.
  • Assesses client materials to identify gaps, evaluate and implement procedural revisions, and escalate policy issues.
  • Analyze engagement and productivity data to refine benchmarks, optimize resources, resolve issues, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Drive accountability and alignment by participating in QA, analyze results, and enhance training to close skill gaps and strengthen the team.
  • Analyze reports to extract business insights, present findings to leadership, and support organizational strategy implementation.
  • Handle sensitive content with professionalism while holding others to the same standard.
  • Facilitate client onboarding by aligning with leadership, preparing resources, and ensuring clear communication for a successful launch.

Your Capabilities & Experience:
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in the legal or compliance field and a minimum of 4 years of leading a team is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) and its application to data governance practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, internet technology, and software (Zendesk a plus, but not required).
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be willing to apply for a U.S. government security clearance and/or pass a drug test if requested.
