Our client is a growing organization seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to its in-house legal department. Job Description:

The Legal Administrative Assistant will support the legal team with contract administration, document management, and litigation-related tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, edit, and organize a variety of commercial and legal agreements, including contract revisions and redlines.
  • Assist with preparing, tracking, and maintaining contracts throughout the review and execution process.
  • Monitor agreement expiration dates and coordinate renewals for service contracts, commercial leases, and other legal documents.
  • Support litigation administration by organizing case files, legal correspondence, discovery documentation, subpoenas, and legal holds.
  • Maintain accurate legal records and update information within legal document management systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, outside vendors, landlords, and legal partners to gather required documentation and facilitate contract completion.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department, ensuring documents and projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with special projects and other legal administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3+ years of legal administrative, paralegal, contracts administration, or related experience.
  • Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Experience reviewing or processing contracts; exposure to commercial or real estate agreements is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word.
  • Experience with legal document management software is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
