About the role
The houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of both guest-facing and back-of-house areas. This role helps ensure the hotel remains clean, well-kept, and welcoming, while working collaboratively across departments to support a consistently positive guest experience.
What you'll do
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in housekeeping back-of-house areas, including linen rooms and supply closets
  • Restock closets and work areas to ensure room attendants have necessary supplies and linens
  • Assist room attendants by stripping beds, removing used linens, and preparing rooms prior to cleaning as needed
  • Collect soiled linens and trash from guest rooms and service areas and transport them to designated locations
  • Support the flow of daily housekeeping operations to help rooms be cleaned efficiently and on time
  • Interact professionally with guests when encountered in guest corridors or public areas
  • Work closely with room attendants, supervisors, and laundry to ensure smooth communication and workflow

Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the shift
  • Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, pushing carts, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in supporting team needs
  • Open availability, including weekends and occasional overnight shifts if required
