Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor - Communication Arts & Sciences (multiple positions) **FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT** Bronx Community College is seeking to hire Adjunct Faculty with the ability to teach courses including Fundamentals of Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking and Critical Listening, Intercultural Communication, Introduction to Film, World Cinema, Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to Theatre, Voice & Diction, and others. Courses may be taught in the day, evening, or during the weekend; in-person teaching likely to be required. **QUALIFICATIONS** For Adjunct Assistant Professor: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. For Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise. Also required for all titles is the ability to teach successfully and prior college teaching experience. **Preferred Qualification:** For Adjunct Lecturer: Master's degree in area(s) of expertise, the ability to teach successfully, and prior college teaching experience. **COMPENSATION** Adjunct Lecturer: $112.50 per hour Adjunct Assistant Professor: $120.83 per hour CUNY offers faculty a competitive compensation and benefits package covering health insurance, pension and retirement benefits, paid parental leave, and savings programs.
