Job Description:

The Art History Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year:

Fall 2026:
AHIS BC2525 Lecture Modern Japanese Art History.

Pay Rate: $14,000

This appointment may include work performed outside of the classroom, including course preparation, attendance at meetings, course assessment, grading assignments and exams, as well as the resolution of incomplete or disputed grades.

Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.
