LECOM Medical Center and Behavioral Health Pavilion, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is currently hiring full-time Observation Techs to join our Behavioral Health Team. REQUIRED: Under the supervision of a RN, provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Is vigilant in the protection of the patient from self harm or falls. Maintains on-going observations of patients and documents this observation at least every five minutes. Verifies that each patient is breathing and not engaging in any harmful acts. Immediately alerts proximate staff of any attempt of self harm or emergency situation while intervening to prevent harmful occurrence.
