Job description

Magnolia Regional Health Center (MRHC), a 200 bed hospital, is seeking a pediatrician to join our growing team of 4 full-time Pediatricians and two Nurse Practitioners in a hospital-owned, outpatient clinic.

  • MGMA Competitive Salary (50th - 75th Percentile)
  • Student Loan Repayment up to $125k

  • Relocation Expenses - negotiable 
  • Excellent Teaching Opportunity (We have an IM program and have students that rotate through with our pediatricians)
  • Trauma Level 3, Nursery Level 1 - These patients are transferred to LeBonheur in Memphis, TN or to Tupelo, MS
  • 5 Pediatric Beds
  • Schedule Type: 8am-5pm Clinic Monday-Friday (4 Clinic Days, 1 Admin day)
  • Traditional Inpatient/Outpatient
  • Call Details:  1:4
  • Pediatricians are required to round on their own patients during the week and, if you are on call, you are responsible for any unassigned patients admitted through the ED who don't have a Pediatrician. Pediatricians are on call every 4th weekend.
  • 3 Ob/GYNS 500 deliveries per year
  • Delivery Coverage: Required for premature births, multiple gestation, stat C sections and at the request of the OB
  • Average Pediatric Patients per physician daily: 30
  • Patient Ages: Up to 18
