Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Upholsterers to join a growing event support and furniture refurbishment operation. This role is responsible for repairing, restoring, and reupholstering a wide variety of furniture pieces used in event setups. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, craftsmanship skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, reupholster, and refurbish furniture including chairs, sofas, booths, and specialty event pieces
  • Remove and replace fabric, padding, springs, and other materials
  • Measure, cut, and fit fabric or leather with precision
  • Inspect furniture for structural damage and complete necessary repairs
  • Operate upholstery tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow production timelines to meet event deadlines
Qualifications
  • Previous upholstery experience required (furniture, automotive, or commercial upholstery)
  • Strong knowledge of upholstery tools, materials, and techniques
  • Ability to read measurements and work with patterns/templates
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle furniture as needed
