2B Residential offers a competitive wage/salary (plus generous commissions)
Pay Range: $18-$20 dollars per hour + bonus commissions
Hours: Friday - Sunday up to 24 hours per week

The Leasing Consultant will work full-time hours with some weekend shifts required. This position is responsible for coordinating activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals. This position is also responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards
  • Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly
  • Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day
  • Receive and distribute all incoming mail
  • Occasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident events
  • Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi
  • Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residentsin order totour the community
  • Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents
  • Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance team
  • Create and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents
  • Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily
  • Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant's tenancy by ensuring occupant's requests are responded to promptly and accurately
  • Responsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown business
  • Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events
  • Participate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
  • Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
One (1) year of previous leasing experience is preferred; one (1) year of previous residential leasing experience with Yardi is preferred.Must have a valid driver's license/automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
