Assistant Community Manager


Primary Location: Flathouse Studios - Greenville, SC


*This role supports two locations in Greenville and Mauldin, SC*


Summary

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the community under the direction of the Community Manager. This role includes leasing, pricing, collections, administration, resident services, and coordination with maintenance. The Assistant Community Manager leads sales efforts from lead generation through closing, ensuring compliance with community policies and application procedures. Must be flexible to work weekends and some holidays.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the full leasing cycle to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
  • Generate qualified leads through outreach, referrals, marketing, and advertising
  • Track closing ratios and coach the leasing team to meet targets
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of leasing documentation
  • Assist with rent collection and proper posting of payments and fees
  • Maintain property standards through regular inspections
  • Respond to resident requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure all rents, deposits, and ancillary income are collected and processed

Responsibilities may be adjusted based on business needs.


Qualifications

  • College degree preferred (not required)
  • Multifamily leasing, sales, or customer service experience required
  • Property Manager License preferred (required within 6 months)
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi Voyager, Popcard, Payscan, Rent Cafe preferred)
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups
