Job description

MultiVersity Housing Partners (MVPM, LLC) is looking for a Full Time Leasing Manager in Pittsburgh PA to join its growing team.

Are you looking to join a dynamic team that is going to change the way that Property Acquisition and Management is performed in the Multifamily industry? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the industry? If so, we have an opportunity for you.

We are seeking to add an innovative and driven individual that wants to get involved and grow with us. This opportunity is to oversee a new acquisition near downtown Pittsburgh. The property will undergo renovations and be positioned as a high profile luxury apartment community in a desirable location.

Essential Job Functions                                                                                                      

Major responsibilities consist of:

     1)    Tenant Experience                                                                                               

  1. Handle escalated customer complaints.
  2. Implement tenant retention programs.                                                                 
  3. Oversee the development of community and a sense of belonging.

2)    Accurate Reporting, Accounts Payable and Receivable

  1. Assist with collection procedures, beginning with the filing of applicable summons; serve as a liaison for collection agency inquiries.
  2. Assist with late notices and eviction notices procedures.
  3. Assist with utilities overage charge-backs.

3) Leasing and Marketing

  1. Maintain positive resident relations through outstanding service.
  2. Oversee and execute the company reputation management platform for the property.
  3. Develop the leasing and marketing plan to include marketing budget, leasing tiers, and strategies.  
  4. Conduct phone, online, and in person sales with prospective residents and renewals
  5. Develop, plan, budget & execute all leasing events & activities.  This includes creating monthly calendars and schedules for the leasing and marketing staff. 
  6. "Shop" competitor's properties
  7. Compile and submit weekly and daily reports; Compile and submit accurate and up to date market survey.
  8. Analyze all market data and create comprehensive sales plans and strategies that set the property to a competitive advantage over the competition. 
  9. Head up the social media, presence, and marketing outreach for the property.  Follow all companywide social media requirements and standards. 
  10. Lead tours, process, and close leases, maintain accurate lease files and conduct audits. 
  11. Responsible for the properties business to business outreach.
  12. Responsible for all leasing follow up- telephone, online and in person leads.
  13. Track and analyze traffic on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.  Suggest adjustments based on results.
  14. Responsible for the properties resident retention plan.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-EDUCATION

Minimum:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

-EXPERIENCE

            Minimum:

One (1) year prior Property Management experience (at a manager level) to include basic accounting and/or Leasing experience.

            Preferred:

More than one (1) year prior Property Management experience (at the Assistant level or higher), to include basic accounting and Leasing experience.

            Industry Experience Required:

Property Management experience
