Job description

Position Title: Learning Systems Administrator

Department: Communications and Training

Status: Full Time

Reports to: VP of Communications and Training

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Purpose

The Learning Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of the department’s learning systems and training operations. This role serves as the primary owner of the Learning Management System and related training technology, including reporting, learner support, publishing workflows, back-end configuration, and content creation support. This position helps ensure that instructional content and communications are delivered efficiently, accurately, and consistently throughout the franchise system.

Position Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary administrator for the Learning Management System, including course setup, learner assignments, enrollment management, completions tracking, system maintenance, and publishing support. This reflects the LMS ownership, reporting, support, and training technology.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve reporting for accredited and non-accredited courses, learner progress, completions, attendance, and other training metrics.
  • Provide support to franchisees, internal users, and other stakeholders regarding LMS access, course issues, system questions, and related training technology needs.
  • Administer and support additional training and communications technologies and related systems, including LINK, LRC, event applications, inquiry tools, student management tools, and other platforms used by the department.
  • Maintain course assets, system records, learning resources, templates, and documentation to ensure materials are current, organized, and accessible.
  • Support content creation and deployment by assisting with course builds, uploads, updates, and publishing workflows in partnership with the Instructional Designer.
  • Support department training initiatives by ensuring the back-end structure is in place for live, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen system performance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to learn, adapt to, and manage new software and technology platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop, interpret, and maintain training reports and data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems issues and provide timely, professional user support.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with learning management systems or similar training technology platforms required.
  • Understanding of AICC/SCORM standards required.
  • Experience with online learning authoring tools and Adobe Creative Cloud required, including tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience in a franchise organization preferred but not required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Standing for long periods, sitting at a desk for long periods, and must be able to lift 40 lbs.
