In this role, you will provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud-based data and analytics solutions that power enterprise reporting, advanced analytics, and operational insights. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to architect secure, high-performing environments while supporting modernization initiatives across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and visualization ecosystems.
This role blends strategic architecture leadership with practical administration and engineering responsibilities. You'll help shape platform direction, drive best practices, and ensure reliable, scalable solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based analytics and data platform solutions
  • Architect and optimize enterprise environments supporting reporting, analytics, and operational systems
  • Lead technical discussions around architecture, scalability, performance, and modernization initiatives
  • Configure and optimize cloud resources, compute environments, and platform infrastructure
  • Design and support data pipelines, integration workflows, and platform interoperability
  • Establish and enforce best practices related to security, performance, governance, and operational reliability
  • Monitor and improve system availability, usage, and performance across environments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployment automation and DevSecOps practices
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
  • Develop architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures
  • Mentor technical team members and provide guidance across engineering initiatives
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical roadmap discussions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience designing, administering, and supporting enterprise technology environments
  • Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing scalable cloud-based architectures
  • Hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions within Databricks environments
  • Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies
  • Subject matter expertise in enterprise analytics and data platform technologies
  • Strong experience with cloud services, infrastructure, and distributed systems
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise data integration and analytics workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting and systems optimization skills
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to meet federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements is required. Due to project requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Apache Spark and modern analytics platforms
  • Experience with AWS cloud architecture and administration
  • Experience supporting enterprise visualization or reporting solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
  • Familiarity with data lake, machine learning, or advanced analytics environments

Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $171,800 to $218,300 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
