Job description

Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seekingaDirector of Pod Learningand Faculty Developmentto lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Learning Pod model while equipping faculty to deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction that strengthens student learning, clinical reasoning, collaboration, and success!

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Lead and continuously improve the institutional Learning Pod program.
  • Partner with faculty and curriculum leaders to create active, case-based, problem-based, and team-based learning experiences.
  • Design faculty development programs, workshops, facilitation guides, and digital learning resources.
  • Coach faculty in adult learning, Universal Design for Learning, collaborative learning, and student engagement strategies.
  • Analyze learner engagement, academic performance, and feedback to recommend evidence-informed improvements.
  • Coordinate Learning Pod assignments, faculty engagement, and resources supporting communication, accountability, peer learning, and conflict resolution.
  • Serve as a campus leader and resource for small-group instructional design and educational innovation.
What Youโ€™ll Bring:
  • Minimum of a master's degree in education, curriculum development and instructional learning, learning sciences, or a closely related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in curriculum development, faculty development, educational program development, or higher education teaching and learning.
  • Experience facilitating faculty development, coaching, or training in small and large groups.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing programs, training, or curriculum with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with case-based learning, problem-based learning, or team-based learning.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems such as Canvas and digital content creation tools.
